Phoenix Arizona horseback riding is second to none in the beautiful East Valley! Superstition's O.K. Stables is located near Apache Junction AZ just east of Phoenix Arizona. We cater to riders, from novice to experienced, couples to large groups, and lots of families with children ages 6 and up.

We are open year-round. Horseback riding is offered just east of Phoenix, AZ in the Valley of the Sun. Our hourly horseback rides are, by and large, enjoyed by customers that simply want to get out of the city and spend some time on a horse in the
Arizona sunshine.

Choose between riding in the Goldfield Mountains or Superstition Mountain Wilderness!  

The Goldfield Mountain trails journey up, down and through this mountainous terrain and you will enjoy  some of the most beautiful views that the Sonoran Desert has to offer.

The Superstition Mountain Wilderness trails are not for the very beginner horse rider. Enjoy the athleticism of your horse as you ride through challenging terrain and take in the beauty of this extraordinary mountain range. The only way to access the Superstition Mountain Wilderness is by hiking or by horseback. If you ask us, horseback riding is the best way to go!

   Goldfield Mountains - 3 Hour Ride - $92.00 + 15% Guides Fee 

   Goldfield Mountains - 4 Hour Ride - $109.00 + 15% Guides Fee 

   Superstition Mountain Wilderness - 3 Hour Ride - 109.00 + 15% Guides Fee

Basic Information for Horseback Riding:

• Winter Hours: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM Every Day.
• To make a reservation just give us a call at: 480-982-4040. The more advanced notice we have the better chance we can schedule the date and time you would like to go. Many times we can make same day reservations for our 1 and 2 hour rides over the phone, but we do recommend more notice if possible.
  
• Two Person Minimum per Ride. We can Usually Add Singles to Other Groups.
  
• Children Must be at Least 6 Years Old. Children Either Ride by Themselves or we Lead their Horse, Depending on their Age, Size and Ability. We do not Double Ride.
• Minors Must be Accompanied By a Parent or Guardian.
• All Rides are Walk-Trot.
• All Rides are Guided.
• Our Weight Limits are Based on Height-Weight Ratios – 240 Pounds Maximum.
• We Accept Cash, Visa, MasterCard, and Travelers Checks.
• We Recommend Wearing Jeans, Closed-toed Shoes, and Bring Water.
• Summer Hours: 8:00 AM – 10:00 AM and 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM 1, 1.5  or 2 hour rides only during Summer months-(Usually, May-September-depending on daytime temperatures)Call for availability
