ARIZONA’S GREATEST MYSTERY – THE SUPERSTITION MOUNTAINS
As a second generation Dutch Hunter, with almost twenty years on the trail of The Dutchman’s lost mine, as his background, Feldman has drawn upon countless historical records, technical reports, interviews, and and unpublished handwritten manuscript (the Cox Notes), to develop a new and perhaps controversial explanation for this legend. While doing so, he has filled in many gaps in an historic puzzle that is the mystery of The Lost Dutchman Gold Mine.
Born 1974, Jesse Feldman is a native of the Superstition Mountain Region, Central Arizona. He grew up with the Cowboy and Pioneer Spirit under Arizona’s sun. He has made a modest living as a trail guide at O.K. Corral Stables, taking people on horseback rides into the Superstition and adjacent Goldfield Mountains. He also spent thirteen summers guiding on the ancient Highline and pioneer trails, under the Mogollon Rim, near Pine, Arizona.
The search for the Dutchman Mine has been a family passion. Jesse grew up amongst many local historians and diehard Dutchman Hunters. Taking after his father, Jesse has defined and interpreted the Dutchman story. In his book, he has documented a mine that he believes is the Lost Dutchman Mine.
